01 / File and folder merging on Mac
See which files need your attention
The tutorial compares a bakery website with Anna’s edited copy. Subfolders are included. The differences list shows a changed home page and a page that exists only in Anna’s folder; identical files have their own filter.
Open the changed file to review both versions side by side. Changed lines and the exact words within them are marked.

Take two edits and leave the third
The example keeps Anna’s typo correction and Saturday opening hours, but leaves out her old phone number. Select each wanted change and click Right to left to copy it into the original on the left. Left to right works in the opposite direction.
Copying a text change edits the open comparison. It does not write that edit to disk until you click Save and confirm overwriting the existing file.

Copy the new file with Pro
Return to the folder results and use the row arrow to copy Anna’s new events page into your folder. Folder copying writes the file to the destination; it has its own Undo copy action.
Folder copying and synchronization require Pro. Applying selected changes between two text files and saving the edited text are available in Free within its limits.

Free comparisons and Pro
Free allows 10 new comparison sessions per local day, text files up to 5 MiB per side and the first 100 folder results. Pro removes those preview and session limits, supports larger sources within technical safety limits and adds folder copying and synchronization.
